About Dr. Afifa

She is Assistant Professor Anatomy at Central Park Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She did MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur. She perused her career in Anatomy in 2013.She was enrolled as M.Phil. Student in Federal Post Graduate Medical Institute Shaikh Zayed Lahore in 2015, where she was involved in teaching Anatomy not only undergraduate students but also postgraduate students of different clinical specialties. She also has extensive experience in teaching Allied health sciences students of Doctor of Physiotherapy, optometry, nursing, medical imaging technology, and medical laboratory technology. Her research work in M.Phil. Was mainly on Osteoporosis. She has a number of national and international research papers on Osteoporosis caused by caffeinated energy drinks, along with the beneficial effects of Flax seed oil on weight loss and curing bone-related various diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and Osteoporosis. She is particularly interested in pursuing her career in the post-doctoral program in stem cell therapy and bone-related diseases and medical education.
