Milestones Achieved in 2024

The  character-building society within a medical college plays a crucial role in shaping not only the academic but also the ethical and emotional development of future healthcare professionals.

The Character-Building Society conducted an insightful talk on “Emotional Intelligence” led by Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar. The session emphasized the importance of understanding and managing emotions effectively in the medical field.

Sheikh Arslan Ahmed delivered an engaging talk on the significance of Islam and the spiritual and communal aspects of Ramadan.

Air Commodore Khalid Chishti inspired students with a talk on cultivating a winning attitude. He shared strategies for developing resilience, perseverance, and a positive mindset—qualities essential for success in both medical careers and personal growth.

Society also hosted an event in which Tuaha Ibn Jalil led a thought-provoking session on the concept of a “Heart Cleanse.” This talk focused on the importance of maintaining purity of intention, kindness, and humility in daily life, especially in the demanding environment of a medical college.

Society hosted an event  in which Members of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) conducted an informative talk on the critical issue of corruption.

All of the above talks were followed by interactive question-and-answer sessions.

The society organizes a weekly Kahf Hour, where students gather to recite and reflect on Surah Al-Kahf.

The Character-Building Society also hosts a weekly Insight Circle, where students discuss various topics related to personal development, ethics, and spirituality.

The society also conducts Taraweeh in Ramadan.

The Aim of Character-Building Society is the construction of human life according to the ways described by Allah SWT and our Holy Prophet Muhammad  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم۔.
