Intensive care unit is one of the evolving and highly demanded field in recent times and considered as the back bone of every hospital; courtesy providing support to all medical and surgical allied fields.
CPTH is proudly equipped with one of the finest, state of the art ICU, which is no less than any other highly ranked ICUs across the country.

The institute has separate medical and surgical ICUs, which have sixteen and nine beds respectively with one to one nursing care. It possesses all the recent equipment’s to combat any medical or surgical catastrophe. The department offers all the noninvasive facilities like:

• CPAP
• BIPAP
• High Flow oxygen

Moreover, invasive procedures like:

• Arterial Lines
• Central Lines
• Hemodialysis Catheters
• Pacemaker
• Invasive Mechanical Ventilation.

It is run by qualified pulmonology and critical care team. The department is hopeful to prosper further in the field of fellowship programs in future under the visionary guidance of the Principal and Dean of CPMC/CPTH.
