Department of Biochemistry

Biochemistry serves as the backbone of modern medicine and advances in it have revolutionized our understanding of life. Biochemistry has a major impact on all the areas of life sciences including cell biology, molecular biology, and molecular genetics. The department excels in imparting clinically relevant knowledge of biochemistry to future medical doctors. It is fully equipped with teaching aids and laboratory facilities and follows an efficient teaching methodology that includes formal lectures, small group sessions, and practical classes.
