About Prof. Rubeena
She graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College and is currently the vice principal of Central Park Medical College. Since the beginning of her career, she has worked as a microbiologist in the Pathology department. Her years of progressively responsible experience have included management, including administration, laboratory diagnostics, and curriculum development, in addition to teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. Conducting infectious control measures workshops during the COVID pandemic is one of her most notable achievements.
She is a member of the Medical Microbiology Infectious Disease Society of Pakistan for life (MMIDSP). She is a member of Pakistan Association of Pathologists (PAP), Pakistan Biological Safety Association (PBSA), Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and American Society of Microbiology (ASM). She is an IFBA-certified Bio risk Management Officer and an active member of the Pakistan Biological Safety Association, where she promotes biosafety awareness, knowledge, and comprehension at the regional and national levels. She has administered undergraduate and graduate exams for MBBS, BDS, Allied Health Sciences, and nursing at UHS and CPSP.
Her enthusiasm for education has led to certifications from a variety of teaching institutions, including University Medical Centre Utrecht, Netherlands; Agha Khan University, Pakistan; American Society of Microbiology, United States; PKLI & LUMS, Pakistan.
She has numerous national and international researches to her credit as part of a departmental project or in collaboration with international companies.
